Quantum Life Sciences Consortium:
Enabling impact in quantum biotechnology
Quantum technologies are starting to change how life sciences are done. Global analysis by StartUs Insights identifies quantum biotechnology as a top‑ten trend shaping biotechnology in 2026, positioning quantum technologies as a driver of the next phase of biotech innovation. The Quantum Life Sciences Consortium (QLSC) gives organisations a practical way to engage early, reduce uncertainty, and connect directly with the people shaping what comes next.
Seize the Quantum Advantage
Make better strategic decisions
Quantum is moving fast. The Consortium works with members to understand what’s real, what’s emerging, where to focus, and where the real value is.
Stay ahead
Participation is designed to be low‑risk and flexible, from early insight to deeper collaboration as your strategy evolves.
Access people, insight and opportunity
Meet researchers, industry peers and future talent working at the intersection of quantum technologies and the life sciences, nationally and internationally.
What participation looks like
Membership connects you to a curated ecosystem through:
- Industry briefings and expert insights
- Invitations to flagship events and workshops
- Direct access to researchers and emerging capabilities
- Visibility within a high‑impact national network
- Clear pathways to collaboration and co‑development
Participation scales with your organisation’s ambitions, from exploration to strategic partnership.
Membership options
The Consortium offers tiered membership, designed to meet organisations where they are:
- General – early insight and exposure
- Silver – engagement and access
- Gold – priority interaction and visibility
- Platinum – co‑designed research and joint R&D pathway
Who should join?
The Consortium is designed for organisations asking:
- How can quantum help solve my problem?
- What life sciences problems can my quantum technology solve?
- How can we support impact in quantum biotechnology?
- How soon will quantum matter to us?
- Who do we need to be talking to?
- What do we need to be doing?
Members include policymakers, research organisations, quantum start-ups, and quantum industry, and organisations across biotechnology, healthcare, pharma, advanced manufacturing, deep tech, investment, and government.
Who’s behind the Consortium?
QLSC is operated by the ARC Centre of Excellence in Quantum Biotechnology (QUBIC), a national collaboration spanning five leading Australian universities and a global network of partners. QUBIC brings together expertise across quantum technologies and the life sciences, supporting engagement, translation and talent development at scale.
