Throughout the year QUBIC is invited to deliver several exciting outreach and engagement initiatives with our partners from around the country including schools, government and industry. We strongly encourage everyone at QUBIC, at any career stage to get involved!
Why volunteer for an outreach activity?
- Develop new skills and learn to share your passion for science effectively with people of all ages
- Inspire the next generation of scientists
- Travel around Australia, network and meet new people in the field, industry and government
- Help increase public understanding and awareness of specific issues and important research
- Involvement in outreach and engagement activities are important ‘service’ additions to your CV, especially for academic promotion and some awards.
What are you waiting for? Sign up now! Please email Prof Jenny Stow, Chair Outreach & Engagement Committee.
