qLIFE | International Conference on Quantum Technology in the Life Sciences
bringing quantum to life
19 – 21 November 2025
Woolyungah/Wollongong, Australia
qLIFE is the world’s first international conference dedicated to quantum technologies in the life sciences. From quantum sensing and imaging to computing and simulation, qLIFE 2025 brings together global leaders in research, industry, and medicine to explore how quantum is transforming health, sustainability, and biological discovery.
About qLIFE
qLIFE is the first international conference series dedicated to quantum technologies in the life sciences. It seeks to foster a cross-disciplinary community to spark innovation, support the development of quantum tools tailored for life science applications, cultivate emerging talent, deepen our understanding of biological systems, and accelerate translation into real-world impact.
qLIFE is organised by four leading organisations at the interface of quantum and bioscience: the Australian Research Council Centre of Excellence in Quantum Biotechnology (QUBIC, Australia), the UK Quantum Biomedical Sensing Research Hub (Q-BIOMED, UK), the Centre for Quantum Bioscience (ZQB, Germany), and the NSF Quantum Leap Challenge Institute for Quantum Sensing for Biophysics and Bioengineering (NSF QuBBE, US).
The conference includes an exciting line-up of presentations from international leaders including Professor Sir Peter Knight (UCL), Professor Miles Padgett (Glasgow), Professor Jennifer Dionne (Stanford) and Professor Fedor Jelezko (Ulm), from major industry such as IBM, Google, Novo Nordisk Foundation, PsiQuantum and SandboxAQ, and from industry innovators such as NVision Imaging Technologies, FieldLine, Calico Labs, and Insilico Medicine.
